Admission Procedure (For Bachelor Degree Programs)

WHO CAN APPLY

An applicant for admission to any B. Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering and B. Sc. (Honors) Computer Science must fulfill the following requirements;

General

1) Combined Entry Test: Applicants should have appeared in the entry test arranged for that particular academic session in which he or she seeks admission.

2) Domicile Certificate: Applicant should be a bonafide resident of the area from where he seeks admission. (Domicile certificate is acceptable only).

3) Medical Fitness: Applicant should meet the requirements of health & eye sight prescribed in Medical Certificate. (Medical Certificate will be available to admitted candidates only.)

4) Age Restrictions: There is no age restriction for applicants seeking admission to any Bachelor / Master Degree programs.

5) Gender Discriminations: Both males & females are eligible to apply against any category except category 'J' which is reserved for female applicants only.

F. SC. (Pre-Engg.) Or Equivalent

1) Applicants should have passed the Intermediate Examination with Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics (Pre - Engineering) from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or an equivalent examination recognized by the Institute.However, Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science & Statistics shall be acceptable for admission in B. Sc. (Honors.) Computer Science.

2) Applicants should have obtained at least 60% (660) marks Pre-Engineering or equivalent examination.

Equivalent Examinations The Institute recognizes all the examinations equi\ F .Sc. Pre-Engineering that are clearly defined in e certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of (IBCC) Islamabad.

Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE)

1) Applicants holding a Diploma of Associate Engineer, against their reserved seats in relevant technology

2) Applicant should have passed DAE examination from Technical Education obtaining at least 60% marks.

Bachelor of Sciences (B. SC.).

Applicants should have passed F. Sc. (Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical with additional mathematics) examinations.

1) For admission in B. Sc. Electrical, Mechanical Engineering,Computer Science, Applicants must have passed th
examinations with Physics & Mathematics.
2) For admission in B. Sc. Chemical Engineering;
a) Applicants who have passed F. Sc. (Pre-Engim
have passed the B. Sc. Examination with Chel
b) Applicants who have passed F. Sc. (Pre-Medic,
Mathematics) they must have passed B. Sc. with & Chemistry.

Prospectus and application forms are available from ADMISSION OFFICE during office hours (8.00 am to 2.00 pm) at the price of Rs.550/- or can be available by post against a Pay Order/ Demand Draft of Rs.600/- in favor of NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad.
