Tender Notice

NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research, a subsidiary of National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan intends to engage the reputed and experienced firms/companies for implementation of its following civil projects within its existing area located at Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad. 

PREQUALIFICATION

Interested parties are requested to send following information supported with relevant documents for pre-qualification to the under signed so as to reach on or before 18.05.2007 along with application for issuance of prospective tenders. Firms already in prequalification process with us are not needed for re-submission.

 1). Name of the firm. 2). Address. 3). Phone No.(s), E-mail, Fax No.(s) etc. 3). Article and Memorandum of Association.          4). Detail of Organization and Experience. 5). List and particulars of permanent staff. 6). Engineering machinery (T&P) owned by the Company. 7). List of major jobs of similar nature (building works) undertaken in last 5 years with value of the work. Completion period etc. preferable with Govt./Semi Govt. departments. Details of jobs in hand. 9). Proof of valid registration with Govt/Semi Govt. departments & also with Pakistan Engineering Council minimum C-3 category. 10). Informations regarding pending litigation case with clients firms & affidavit that firm is not black listed from any Govt/Semi Govt. departments.         11). Certificate of financial soundness, bank statements, NTN No. etc.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.             The tender documents can be obtained from accounts department of IEFR during working hours from 0730 hours to 1400 hours (Except Friday) on non refundable basis of payment of Rs. 2,500/- per tender.

2.             Tenders will be issued from 09.05.2007 to 21.05.2007 from accounts department of NFC IEFR after prequalification/technical evaluation.

3.             Tenders in sealed envelopes will be received at NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research, Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad up to 04.06.2007 at 11:30 AM and will be opened on 12:30 PM on the same day in the presence of  contractors or their authorize representative who care to be present.     

4.             Earnest money, amounting to two percent (2%) of the tendered cost in shape of call deposit/demand draft in the favour of NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad must accompany each tender. Each tender shall be in a sealed separate cover marked, 1). "Construction of Boys Hostel". 2). "Construction of Electrical Engineering Block" at NFC IEFR, Faisalabad and addressed to Director IEFR. Bids with out Earnest Money and conditional tenders will not be accepted.

5.             Tender should be made at item rates as per details of schedule of rates included therein and the contractor shall be bound to carry out the work in 15 months time starting from the date of written work order to commence.  

6.             Other details regarding the work can be seen in the office of undersigned on any working day/hours.

7.             Tenders submitted without total, sub-total, unauthentic cutting and over writing will not be accepted.

8.             NFC IEFR reserves the right to accept any or reject all tenders without assigning any reasons and not bound only to lowest bidder.
