NFC IEFR; the frontrunner
in the technical war
NFC IEFR Department of Electrical and Computer Science
Engineering participated in the colossal event where the peers belonging
to well reputed and dignified institutes/universities from all over the
country like UET Lahore, FAST NU
The IEEE Tech Fair 2008 was a perfect blend of different competitions specifically tailored to judge the technical proficiency and expertise of students. The Engineering Project Exhibition, Software Project Exhibition, Dynamic Programming Competition, Microcontroller Interfacing Competition, Electrical Engg. Quiz and Circuit Designing Competition provoked the technological and methodological dexterity in the students, and were also paralleled by gaming competition which spiced up the fun aspect of the events.
NFC IEFR teams took part in four events and brought huge applaud and admiration for the institute in all the trials.
In Project Exhibition Category the specially designed student project for WASA titled as “ Industrial Data Acquisition and Logging System “ got the first prize.
As well as the NFC IEFR teams stood second in Electrical Engg. Quiz,
First and Third in Circuit Design Competition and Second in Dynamic Programming events.
